The live occupancy meter automatically calculates Total Entries (IN) minus Total Exits (OUT). As door attendants tap the IN or OUT counters across gates, the Net Inside count updates instantly.
Can multiple staff members count at different doors simultaneously?
Yes! Click the Sync Doors button in the top navigation bar to generate a secure Sync Link. Staff members at multiple doors or gates can open the link on their mobile phones and count simultaneously in real time.
Can I set a maximum capacity limit for fire safety regulations?
Yes. You can specify a Maximum Venue Capacity right in the top occupancy dashboard. When occupancy reaches 85%, the meter turns amber, and when full capacity is reached, a red alert warns staff to pause admissions.
Does the people counter work offline if Wi-Fi drops at the gate?
Yes, YayTally functions seamlessly offline in Guest Mode. All counts stay securely saved in your browser's LocalStorage memory and automatically resync when an internet connection is re-established.
